  1. Apply online or download an application form and submit by mail, fax or email.
  2. Send a bank statement from your bank translated into US dollars.
  3. Send a copy of your passport and a passport-sized recent photo of yourself.

  4. Submit US $300 through wire transfer or credit card for application and processing fees.

  5. Wait for your I-20 to arrive and make an appointment to interview with the US embassy or consulate in your country.

  6. Decide if you need Columbia School to arrange your housing.

  7. Send your arrival information to our Columbia School.

    If you need to arrive later than the start date on your I-20, tell the Director IMMEDIATELY. Students may not be allowed to enter the US after the start date shown on the I-20.
